With an upcoming EP on the horizon for the LA four piece, Oyster Kids share with us another high quality pop track in the form of ‘Work It Out’
Looking back at their early work from 2016, ‘Work It Out’ brings with it the charm and almost nostalgia of tracks ’40 Nights’ and ‘Gum’; familiar in essence but still moving forward nonetheless. Centred around the idea of succumbing to panic attacks and the aftermath of them, frontman Andrew Eapen said: “‘Work It Out’ is a song about washing away your troubles and living in the moment. There was a lot going on in my life when I wrote this, and I wanted to create something that would take me to a better place“.
Rising over the Pacific like a sleepy Sunday still dancing to the beat of Saturday; ‘Work It Out’ balances out the joy and freedom of its pulsating synth keys with intricate lyricism that exudes the charming, full of energy vibe that Oyster Kids are bringing to each track theh release.
